Youth Alive (YA) is
empowering youth across Northern Ghana to champion the widespread education and
support for a peaceful upcoming 2012 election. The Youth in Governance project
recently spurred youth from the Wa Kejetia lorry station to partner with local
media to increase the reach of their message via print, radio, television and
online channels.
The press conference
was an opportunity for media to truly understand and personalize the
perspective of the oft overlooked demographic and the vital role they play in
guaranteeing a successful election year.
